In 2009, I received my first commission from Gardens Illustrated magazine, to create double-page illustrations of gardens designed by the UK's top garden designers. These gardens are fictional and brought to life through my illustrations.

The garden designers provided a rough aerial plan of their envisioned garden, and at times,  only a plant list.  I research the habit of the plants to weave them together to create an artistic impression of the garden, to accompany the garden designer's written article.

Additionally, I had great pleasure illustrating the cover-mounted seed packets that came free with the magazine from 2009 to 2019.
