Introducing our exquisite Bluebell botanical screenprint, crafted by hand to capture the essence of this enchanting wildflower. The woods behind my parents' home is named Bluebell Woods, as in spring it has a carpet of these beautiful flowers. Each print is unique and hand registered by eye, created by 12 colour layers which radiate off the navy blue background. This limited edition screenprint is a unique piece of art that will add a touch of natural beauty to any room.
Bluebell, Hyacinthoides non-scripta:
A vigorous, clump-forming bulbous perennial about 20-40cm tall, with linear, glossy dark green leaves to 45cm long, and erect stems bearing arching racemes of fragrant, narrowly tubular, mid-blue to violet-blue, flowers in spring. (Source: RHS)
A new vibrant series of plant studies on A5 card from G.F Smith. Printing on to the dark matt card makes the paint layers shine creating a beautiful effect. They are all editioned and signed on the back.
