This screenprint was hand printed by me as one complete edition of just 10. Once all 10 have found homes, the edition is permanently sold out.

I prefer to print my limited-edition screenprints in a single print run, while my mind is completely focused on that particular design. Once the edition is finished, I remove the stencils from my screens with a jet power washer and do not return to produce additional copies. Each print in the edition is therefore created together at one moment in time, and once finished I move on to another design, making each print genuinely limited.

This screenprint was a challenge to myself to show that I could create a large statement print. 

The series captures the architectural structure of the Apiaceae family of plants, with their dynamic strong stems and elegant umbel flowers. In the language of flowers, Fennel, symbolises strength. I wanted the viewer to appreciate the power and history of plants.
