Lace of the Midnight Garden

The romantic umbels of Ammi majus, also known as Queen Anne’s lace, intertwine with Nigella, Campanula and Verbena bonariensis to create a garden filled with layers of delicate flowers.

Like all my illustrations, Lace of the Midnight Garden began as a black-and-white line drawing. I then created the colour one layer at a time, building each plant and detail individually.

Professionally printed using archival pigment inks on 350gsm Hahnemühle Museum Etching paper, chosen for its beautiful texture and depth of colour.

Once this edition of 250 has sold, it will not be reprinted.
